Welcome to the Sweden-Lithuania Cooperation Fund
The Sweden-Lithuania Cooperation Fund is an independent foundation established in 2019 to strengthen and promote bilateral relations between Sweden and Lithuania.
Our Mission is to strengthen the connection between Sweden and Lithuania by supporting initiatives that foster cultural exchange, collaboration, and sustainable partnerships. Through transparent and accessible grant funding, we empower individuals and organizations to bring meaningful cross-border ideas to life.
We support exchange and collaboration between individuals, groups, and organizations in both countries. Funding is provided through the income generated from the foundation’s capital.
Who Can Apply?
1️⃣ Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
Community groups, foundations, and associations working in culture, education, social development, or civic engagement that aim to create cross-border collaboration.
2️⃣ Cultural Practitioners & Creators
Artists, cultural organizers, curators, researchers, and independent creators developing projects that promote dialogue and exchange between Sweden and Lithuania.
3️⃣ Entrepreneurs & Initiators
Social entrepreneurs, startups, and individuals with innovative project ideas that encourage cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable partnerships across borders.
We welcome applications from anyone interested in developing and revitalizing Swedish–Lithuanian cooperation. The Fund awards grants for projects, travel, and media initiatives.
All applications are reviewed by the Board, which consists of four Lithuanian and four Swedish members appointed by their respective governments.
