Projects granted funding in the spring of 2024

The Sweden-Lithuania Cooperation fund works to support bilateral exchange and grants project funding twice a year. At the board meeting on the 7th May 2024, 11 separate projects were granted as well as support given to the commemorative events taking place in Gotland in the fall of 2024, remembering 80th anniversary since the arrival of the Baltic boat refugees, named “Gotland - 80 years after”. The total funding amounts to 32 000 euro (approx. 366 000 SEK), of which 4 500 EUR are bookmarked for “Gotland - 80 years after”.

The projects supported include:

  • Patricija Vytytė, art exchange, EUR 2 000;

  • Venecija Kornelija Guntoriūtė, Nordic-Baltic Jewellery Festival, EUR 3 000;

  • Hugo Ticciati, participations from all Nordic-Baltic countries join orchestral masterclasses, workshops involving movement, dance, improvisation and rehearsals resulting in two concerts, EUR 40 000;

  • Vladas Litvinas, filmmaking “Migrating Cranes”, EUR 3 000;

  • Kristina Dūdonytė, know-how in production of news in an Easy-to-read language, EUR 2 500;

  • Raimonda Gvozdienė, development and testing of a green library method, EUR 2 500;

  • Hamid Ghorbani Shiraz, development of cathode for hydrogenation of Organic Molecule of Toluene, EUR 3 500;

  • Žilvinas Mišeikis, experience exchange in the implementation of personal assistance, EUR 2 500;

  • Jurgita Bugailiskiene, project development, implementing Land of Legends for the cultural potential of Anyksciai district, EUR 3 000;

  • Toby Gunn, ballett workshops and performances, EUR 700;

  • Fadhel Mourali, research for an art exchange, EUR 800.
