Five new project grants
The cooperation fund board has decided to grant the following projects:
#P2117_ERNESTAS KLEVAS, “Establishing a business relationship between two Kombucha companies to express creativity through national flavors”, EUR 3800
The project idea is to create two kombucha flavors, reflecting the taste of Sweden and Lithuania respectively. One kombucha flavor will be produced to represent the most iconic flavor of Lithuania and distributed during an event in Sweden. Another kombucha flavor which reflects the Swedish taste will reach kombucha drinkers in Lithuania. In collaboration with partners in Malmö.
#P2132_Ulrika Bandeira, “Program exchange between Tempo Documentary Festival and Inconvenient Film”, EUR 3000
Two documentary film festivals, one in each country, exchanging films. Inconvenient films (in Lithuania) and Tempo Documentary Festival (in Sweden) are initiating a collaboration where each festival selects a film from their own program and presents it at the other festival (Swedish resp. Lithuanian films only). The screening will be accompanied by an interview/lecture with the director, invited to the festival.
#P2118_Vita Viselge, “Cross-innovation Learning Lab”, EUR 2600
Cross-innovation Learning Lab aims to enhance connectivity among Swedish and Lithuanian emerging artists, solo entrepreneurs, students, cultural workers, officials, companies and public organisations from different industries and sectors. The project includes 3 online seminars with participants from Sweden and Lithuania, Live Cross-innovation Learning conference in Vilnius, and new collaboration projects that emerge during the event get support in cultural incubators in Sweden or Lithuania in order to be developed into sustainable businesses.
#P2126_Eglė Šimėnaitė, “Human Sound III: the sound object”, EUR 2600
A collaboration between a Swedish researcher Kent Sjöström, Finnish composer and puppeteer Valtteri Alanen and Lithuanian creative director Eglė Šimėnaitė to involve the knowledge of using sounds, music and technology for helping people with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and similar diseases.

A networking project for dancers to improve the social infrastructure and access to cultural activities for some of the most vulnerable communities in Sweden and Lithuania through contemporary theatre and dance (i. e. performance art). pplicants and look forward to successful cooperation between Sweden and Lithuania.
