The Sweden-Lithuania Cooperation fund works to support bilateral exchange and grants project funding twice a year. At the board meeting on the 21 October 2024, the board of the Sweden-Lithuania Cooperation Fund allocated 15 950 euro in grants. The grants fall in the categories project and travel, because this time no grants in the category media were approved. In addition to the 27 500 euro allocated in the spring of 2024, a total of 43 450 euro have been available for various Sweden-Lithuanian cooperation projects.

At the board meeting on the 7th May 2024, 11 separate projects were granted as well as support given to the commemorative events taking place in Gotland in the fall of 2024, remembering 80th anniversary since the arrival of the Baltic boat refugees, named “Gotland - 80 years after”. The total funding amounts to 32 000 euro (approx. 366 000 SEK), of which 4 500 EUR are bookmarked for “Gotland - 80 years after”.
